Welcome to the Home page of the Burlingame Property Owners Association! Located at about 3,000' of elevation, Burlingame is a private, mountain community set against the backdrop of incredible Blue Ridge Mountain vistas, and is surrounded by the sounds of streams, waterfalls and nature. Clean air, marvelous climate and beautiful scenery draw today's "settlers" to our little corner of North Carolina much as these attributes appealed to the more adventurous pioneers of the 18th and 19th centuries.

We have an amazing collection of amenities, including parks, hiking trails, trout waters, fishing ponds and an associated Country Club with a beautiful Club House, dining, golf, tennis, a world class fitness center, swimming pool, croquet and much more. The Burlingame Property Owners' Association (BPOA) works for its 600+ members to maintain the roads, parks, trails and landscaping of common areas. The BPOA also provides architectural guidance, security, member services and other activities.  In 2019, the BPOA opened its renovated office facility located on Upper Whitewater Road near our main entrance.
