Burlingame and Burlingame Country Club are located in Sapphire, NC in Transylvania County. The community is approximately 45 miles southwest of Asheville. Follow U.S. 64 West out of Brevard until you reach Sapphire, the "center" of which is located at the junction of U.S. 64 and NC Hwy 281 South. Proceed on U.S. 64 West for approximately 1 mile, and the entrance to Burlingame is on the left, well-marked with a lighted rock sign.
From Asheville, reach the community from I-26, taking exit 49B (Airport Exit) onto NC Hwy 280 and traveling west toward Brevard. Turn west on U.S. 64 and travel toward Sapphire, and follow Directions above.
From Atlanta, GA, reach the community from I-85, taking South Carolina exit 1 onto SC 11 and traveling north toward Walhalla, SC. Turn north on SC Hwy 130, which becomes NC Hwy 281 at the North Carolina state line. Continue north on NC Hwy 281 until its intersection with U.S. 64. Turn left onto U.S. 64 West and follow the Directions above.
From Charlotte, reach the community by traveling south on I-85 towards Greenville, SC, and exit onto west on U.S. 74 West towards Shelby. Continue on U.S. 74 West to I-26 West. Turn west on I-26, traveling toward Hendersonville. Take exit 49B (Airport Exit) onto NC Hwy 280 and traveling west toward Brevard. Turn west on U.S. 64 and travel toward Sapphire, and follow Directions above.
From Greenville, SC, reach the community by traveling on U.S. 276 north to SC 11. Take SC 11 south toward Walhalla, SC, and turn north on SC 130, which becomes NC Hwy 281 at the North Carolina state line. Continue north on NC Hwy 281 until its intersection with U.S. 64. Turn left onto U.S. 64 West and follow the Directions above.
