ARC FAQ
Below are items that property owners ask about the most and information as to where procedures and forms are in our Architectural Guidelines and Procedures. Once written ARC approval is given by our ARC Administrator, Hannah Hernandez, and all fees have been paid, property owners are cleared to begin their project.
Repainting:
When considering repainting your home, whether you are painting the same color or a different color there are forms to be completed and submitted to the ARC for review and approval. Painting of shutters or any doors should also be submitted for review.

Re-roofing:
Minor roof repairs do not require ARC approval. If you wish to replace the roofing on your house entirely or any detached building, even if you will be using the same materials, ARC approval is necessary.

Exterior Alterations or Additions:
Generally, when a property owner makes exterior alterations or an addition he or she may want to use a professional to create drawings and a contractor to complete the work. Submitting professional drawings and having an initial meeting with the committee can move the process along quickly by allowing for questions and answers during the meeting. Our committee meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month. With some meetings on the 4th Wednesday.
Relevant Procedures and Forms:

ARC-A – depending on extent of modification other forms may be required
Landscaping:
Landscaping may include the removal or trimming of trees, native plants and/or underbrush, additions to or updating of hardscape or adding/changing current landscaping. For landscaping changes, please contact Scott Goins to meet with you at the property to review any trees for removal and to describe the project. If you are only removing trees, he may can help you. If your property boarders the Burlingame Golf Course, approval by Burlingame Country Club may be required. If that is the case, Scott can help facilitate contacting their representatives. For more extensive landscaping changes, professional drawings are preferred.
