ARC Member: Since October 2025

Relevant Experience:
Greg’s youth working on his family’s 2,000-acre farm until age 27 provided practical physical world experience that set him up for his second career in commercial real estate. He began as a land broker helping clients identify, assemble, entitle & acquire land upon which to build large-scale development projects. An abbreviated list includes office parks, shopping centers, hospitals, schools, country clubs, single family subdivisions from 200 to 500 homes, mixed use “Live Work Play” developments with 1,200 to 2,000 homes amenitized with ancillary open space parks, vertical recreation facilities, retail & office uses. Six years into his land brokerage career, Mr. Cox reached financial capability to accept clients’ invitations to participate as a minority partner in many of their development projects. He has worked closely with top tier pros in all disciplines in the development ecosystem. An abbreviated list includes architects, land planners, civil & structural engineers, attorneys, local entitlement staff, state & federal environmental agencies, economic development officials, politicians, POAs (residential & commercial). Any successful career as a point person helping make large scale land development projects happen requires sufficient literacy in all involved professional disciplines to be an interpreter between all combos of the professions. More importantly, it requires leading teams of pros in first creating game plans and then making the plans become physical realities where people live, work, learn & play.

She founded Rehab Services of Nevada in Winnemucca, Nevada in 1992 where she has practiced physical therapy for over three decades. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Demarah and Pat purchased a home on Lake Murray in Lexington, South Carolina, with plans for future retirement. During a long remodeling project, they discovered the beauty of Western North Carolina and soon realized their retirement vision would be incomplete without a home in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. They fell in love with the Burlingame community and club and purchased their mountain home two years ago. The Grays have five children, several of whom are now relocating to the Carolinas, further deepening their family’s roots in the region. Relevant Experience:
Rick started his career with a solid technical foundation, earning a Bachelor of Engineering Technology from Georgia Tech, where he also participated in the Co-Op program. His early hands-on experience came from working as a Lineman with Georgia Power Company, which gave him a deep respect for teamwork, safety, and getting things done right the first time.
From there, transitioned into the world of engineering and sales with Ingersoll-Rand, where he worked as both an Application Engineer and Sales Engineer, helping customers find the right technical solutions for their needs.
Rick later joined SIP (USA) Inc, where he took on increasingly larger roles—from Regional Sales Manager to National Sales Manager, and eventually Vice President of Sales for North America. Those years taught him a lot about leadership, strategy, and how to build strong customer relationships across a large and diverse market.

In 1999, Rick founded National Vendor Services, a company that provided in-store merchandising services for Lowe’s stores nationwide. After growing the business successfully, he sold it to a private equity firm.

Today, Rick is Managing Partner in two ventures that reflect both his business experience and his desire to make a difference in people’s lives; Group Home Development, where they design, build, and lease or sell properties for organizations serving group home needs.
Turning Point Recovery Resources, a residential treatment program that provides housing and support for men recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. They currently have 72 beds and continue to grow their reach and impact.

Throughout Rick's career, he's been driven by a simple philosophy: build things that last—whether it’s a business, a team, or a program that helps people get a second chance.
